David James Elliott is a very popular force in classic television, working as Canadian actor who was the star of the series JAG, playing lead character Harmon Rabb Jr. from 1995 to 2005. He participated in many movies as well, but it was Elliott’s portrayal on JAG that earned him the hearts of audiences all over the country. Elliott’s net worth is estimated to be $15 million.
After college, Elliott moved to California to pursue a career in acting. By 1986, he earned his first role in Police Academy 3: Back in Training. After production concluded, he was quickly recruited to be in the television series Street Legal, Knots Landing as Bill Nolan, and in 1993’s The Untouchables as Agent Paul Robbins. However, it wasn’t until he began his work on JAG in 1995 that he truly rose to fame.
With all of his fame, Elliott was finally able to invest in some real estate opportunities. He purchased a villa in Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California in a neighborhood that was known for being upscale. Eventually, Elliott decided to pursue another home and rented out the former at a rate of $35,000 per month. In 2014, he ultimately decided to sell the estate, earning him $9.9 million. The home features 11-foot ceilings, private recording studio and a gym.
Elliott has been married to Nanci Chambers since 1992. The couple has two children – Stephanie, who was born 15 March 1993, and Wyatt, who was born March 3, 2003. They had a second wedding ceremony in 1999, seven years after they originally exchanged vows. The couple didn’t have much money the first time they went to the altar, so they decided to renew their vows in a much pricier and lavish way. Additionally, Elliott regularly runs in the Boston Marathon to raise awareness of youth programs for The Salvation Army.
