Melinda Heather Cohn, commonly referred to as Mindy was born on May 20, 1966 and is an American comedian and actress. She is most notably known for her being the voice of Velma Dinkley from the Scooby-Doo cartoon series as well as her role as Natalie Green from “The Facts of Life”. Born in Los Angeles, California, back in 1979 when she was approached by the producers of the show “The Facts of Life”, she wasn’t really focused on the concept of advancing her career. However, they gave the role of ‘Natalie Green’ as to which she played from 1979 to 1988. The show itself, focused on the lives of 4 boarding school females who would face new life lessons each week.
